Happy Thanksgiving! Now where's my kast?

Yes, it's been a long time. The long and the short of it? Family illness (my father is recovering perfectly - praise God!), I've been working (praise God!) and I have not had a lot of time. I honestly have 3 podcasts ready, BUT as I was getting the first one edited, one of my extended hard drives started acting strangely. I took it in and.....well......it's not looking good. For some reason it won't boot in my computer and it makes other computers crash. My LIFE is in that drive. My computer guy said I could pay $800 (WHAT!) to take it to a special transferring place. And one of his clients paid $15,000 to get that done. (The client? James Cameron.) Well, I don't have that kind of money, so he's (my computer guy) making a few phone calls to HP to see what can be done. I am grateful for a lot of things! Please Pray for my sister...her house burned down!!

First off thank you everyone for your prayers and encouragement!! I could explain everything, but the local newspaper had it on the front page today! It's very sad!  The good news is that no one was killed!! Here's the link: http://www.texarkanagazette.com/news/localnews/2007/11/28/house-fire-95.php People have been asking where to send clothes and such! Anything would be a huge help right now! ...get me some cig-rettes!!

Yeah, yeah, I know it’s been awhile since I “really” blogged. But I can tell ya some cool stuff that’s happening. First off, I’m working with an amazingly talented brass musician and composer, Dr. Tomas Stone!! (Who happens to be my best friend, Jen’s hubby!! They are SO adorable together!! And in all honestly they could and SHOULD do stand-up comedy together! I laugh so hard I hurt every time I’m with ‘em!!…………“Baby, go thru Starbuck’s & get me some cig-rettes!!” ROAR!!!!) Last week Tom & Chris (…sorry, I can’t remember your last name at the moment…but your wife sounded nice on the phone!!! J ) informed me that one of the tunes I wrote was a NO, R&B song….well….COOL! All I knew was when Chris (last-names-less) played on it, I was like…uh, that’s like EXACTLY what I’m hearing in my head!! (Which is actually a scary thing…no one needs inside my head…not even ME sometimes!) Anywho, Tom’s brass sounded PHENOMINAL on it….yeah, Tom’s brass….(Jen……stop with the comments!!!) HA!!!
